This pull apart cheese bread recipe is perfectly cheesy, garlicky, and tasty.
Servings: 0
Ingredients
1crusty loaf (I like sourdough!)
1cupshredded Mozzarella cheese
8-10tbspGarlic, Parmesan & Herb Snack Spread(see ingredients notes above. Challenge Butter is what I used here, but Trader Joe's has one or you can use an easy recipe)
1tbspchopped fresh parsley
1tbspsliced green onions
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F and bring the butter to room temperature.
Cut the bread on a diagonal, then cut again to create 1" diamonds, but make sure not to cut all the way through.
Use your fingers or a butter knife to pry open the cuts and spread on the butter and stuff with mozzarella. Brush surface with remaining butter (if you’re having trouble brushing on the softened butter, melt it!).
Wrap the bread with foil and bake until the cheese has mostly melted, 20 minutes. Then unwrap and bake until crust is browned and toasted, 5-10 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and green onions. Best served warm!
Notes
For the herby garlic butter, I used Challenge Garlic Parmesan with Herbs Spreadable Butter, but Trader Joe's has one too. Or you can use an easy herb butter recipe you find. I have linked to one in the post above.
