    Did you call it “Christmas Crack?” Whatever th Did you call it “Christmas Crack?” Whatever the name, it’s the perfect holiday treat! Recipe below ⬇️

INGREDIENTS

1 sleeve of saltine crackers

1 cup unsalted @challengebutter 

1 cup packed brown sugar

12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

½ cup chopped pecans

Sea salt to taste 

INSTRUCTIONS 

1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a rimmed cookie sheet with parchment paper. Fill sheet with saltine crackers in a single layer.

2. In a medium saucepan over medium-high, melt butter and brown sugar together and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally until combined and sugar is melted. Continue to boil undisturbed for 5 minutes.

3. Remove from heat and pour caramel mixture over the cracker layer. Spread with a spatula if needed to cover them evenly.

4. Bake in preheated oven for 5-6 minutes, or until just bubbly.

5. Remove from oven and sprinkle immediately with chocolate chips. Place back in oven for 2 minutes until the chocolate chips begin to melt and become shiny, remove from oven and spread them over crackers with an icing spatula. Add the pecans and salt on at this point while the chocolate is still melted.

6. Transfer pan to freezer until firm, about 30 minutes. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

    Who’s making the VIRAL SNOW GLOBE COCKTAIL?!? I Who’s making the VIRAL SNOW GLOBE COCKTAIL?!? I saw this last year and had to recreate it. Since then, it’s gone viral and there’s a much better technique where you tie the rosemary with a string and tape up the sides (I added a pic in this video to show you). You can also check out the video on @colettescocktails to take a closer look. 

It works with any clear cocktail like a vodka soda or vodka tonic, but also a perfect for sparkling water or any clear mocktail. Such a fun way to serve up a festive drink. 

NOTE- I heard some concerns about freezing glass. Just make sure yours is freezer safe. And you’re not putting in hot liquid.
