charcuterie board for wedding table

An alternative to an entire wedding charcuterie table is placing charcuterie boards on each table for cocktail hour or the wedding reception. Whether you’re having a big wedding or something more intimate, picking the centerpieces for the guests’ tables can be hard–especially if you’ve opted to go flower-free. That’s where I come in! You know charcuterie is the answer to all my problems, so it’s probably no shock to you that my idea of the perfect centerpiece is a beautiful cheese board. Match it to your wedding colors and prepare to impress your guests. Centerpieces aren’t your thing? Serve them at the cocktail hour!

Directions

  • Space out the brie, Humboldt Fog, and La Tur evenly on the board to anchor it.
  • Fan the rice crackers round the brie and add the apricots around the La Tur. Unwrap the La Tur so that the cheese is exposed but still contained in the packaging for easy clean-up.
  • Add the grapes in two separate bunches to the edges of the board.
  • Place the macarons in the center of the board, then fill in any remaining gaps with the Raincoast crisps, salami, and sopressata.
  • Top the brie with honey and honeycomb, if using.

Make This Wedding Charcuterie Extra Special

Wedding decor is always about what speaks to the couple and their story–so make this board uniquely you! Add some sweet treats that have a special place in your hearts… say, a candy from your first trip as a couple.

Make sure to add things, edible and otherwise (like flowers!), that tie into your theme and/or colors to give it that extra touch. For instance, if your colors are shades of green, trade out the pink macarons for some delicious pistachio macarons.

I love these “Mr & Mrs” cake toppers! But if your partnership doesn’t fall into the Mr & Mrs category, feel free to find a cake topper that speaks to you!

Wedding Charcuterie Table

Of course if you prefer a whole grazing table for a wedding, it’s a great option for cocktail hour or a buffet style feast. My advice… leave it to the professionals. Grazing tables are especially time consuming with lots of prep involved. There are also very specific catering guidelines to keep everything safe for consumption!

Charcuterie Board Centerpiece for a Wedding

Charcuterie boards could absolutely work as centerpieces instead of florals, but you could also serve them alongside your arrangements. Loading your charcuterie centerpieces up with edible flowers and colorful fruit will go a long way!

You could also do mini cheese wheel cakes at different tables throughout the wedding tables. Pop on a  wedding cake topper from above and you have a gorgeous, edible centerpiece for each table.
