2024 NYE charcuterie

How to Make a NYE Charcuterie Board

Cheese

  • Dill Havarti, cubed
  • Manchego, sliced
  • Mimolette, sliced
  • Colby Jack, cubed
  • Cheddar, cubed

Meat

  • Genoa salami
  • Calabrese salami

Produce

  • Strawberries
  • Green and Red Grapes
  • Clementines (optional)
  • Blackberries (optional)
  • Raspberries (optional)
  • Olives (optional)

Candy

  • Hershey’s Kisses, wrapped
  • Black M&Ms (optional)
  • Rolos, wrapped (optional)

Carbs

  • Star-shaped crackers

Put it All Together

  • First, lay out the salami and cheese cubes into the shape of 2024 horizontally across the center of the board. Fill the dishes with Hershey’s Kisses and olives, or substitute with M&Ms, Sugared Cranberries, and/or Rolos.
  • Make tge salami folds and pile 3-4 pieces on a decorative toothpick (like I did for my Christmas CharcuterTREE). You could also consider adding a row of salami rosettes for a fun touch (check out the tutorial here).
  • Fill in the remaining spaces on the board with groupings of cheese, produce, salami, and crackers, being careful to separate similar colors and flavors.
  • Serve extra candies and crackers on the side.

Pro tip: As an alternative, you can make this a sweets board! Just swap out the salty meats, cheeses, and carbs for chocolates, cookies, marshmallows, and other themed treats. I usually stick with black, white, silver, and gold–the classic NYE party colors!

All About the Numbers

You can also use these number-shaped dishes to celebrate the new year like I did for 2023 (I bought mine from Amazon). The best part is that you just have to change out one number next year (and the year after)! You can also use these number dishes to celebrate a whole bunch of occasions, like graduation years, birth dates, anniversaries–whatever your heart desires.

Where to find those Star Crackers?

I’m a huge fan of Valley Lahvosh crackers for festive occasions! They make the star crackers on this board and my 4th of July Board and the cute tree crackers on my CharcuterTREE and Brie Merry BoardThey also make the heart crackers that I use on Valentine’s Day Boards.

#PromotionWithColumbusBrand SAVE this post & make a 2024 CHARCUTERIE BOARD for NYE. Full instructions using @columbusmeats below. The key to making this festive 2024 board is the salami… Here I used @columbusmeats Sopressata Salami and Calabrese Salami slices to create the “2’s” alongside the cheese “0” and cheese “4.” I also folded the #columbusmeats Italian Dry Salame onto party toothpicks for appetizer-sized single-servings for guests to easily grab. INGREDIENTS 12 oz @columbusmeats Italian Dry Salame 4 oz @columbusmeats Sopressata Salami (from Charcuterie Sampler) 4 oz @columbusmeats Charcuterie Calabrese Salami (from Charcuterie Tasting Board) 6 oz mild cheddar, cubed 6 oz monterey jack, cubed 6 oz young manchego, sliced 4 oz castelvetrano olives 4 oz chocolate kisses 8 oz dark purple grapes 8 oz green grapes 4 oz strawberries A pack of star crackers (fit a few on the board then serve more on the side) rosemary sprigs, for garnish INSTRUCTIONS Shape the Sopressata Salami and Calabrese Salami into two “2s”. Shape the mild cheddar into a “0” and the monterey jack into a “4”. Place triangles of young manchego in between the “2” and the “0” and the “2” and the “4” to simulate fireworks. Add ramekin of Castelvetrano olives and ramekin of chocolate kisses to each side of the board. Fill in the board with produce, including green and purple grapes and strawberries to the board, and add star crackers. Using the Italian Dry Salame, fold into fourths. Place four folded salame pieces onto a festive toothpick and place on board. Garnish with rosemary sprigs, and enjoy! AAintTooProudToCheeseC#CharcuterieBoard#cheeseplatechallenge#nyefood

The New Years board looks amazing, I’m going to try it but didn’t want to buy the numbered dishes. They’re a bit pricey and they are sold out of twos anyway. Instead, I just ordered two sets of large numbered cookie cutters ( so I’d have two 2s) and will fill them with candies! Thanks for the great ideas!
