What is an Açaí Bowl
A smoothie bowl is essentially just a smoothie… but besides the obvious difference, it also tends to be thicker and have more fruit content. I personally prefer smoothie bowls because you can add toppings and eat it with a spoon like yogurt!
If you’ve ever searched for smoothie bowls, you know the Açaí bowl is the most popular! That’s because Açaí, a tropical berry that hails from South America, has a whole bunch of health benefits, like fiber, antioxidants, and calcium, that make it the perfect way to start your day.
How to Make a Smoothie Bowl Smoothies
- Sambazon Frozen Superberry Açaí Bowl
- Sambazon Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl
Produce
- Banana slices
- Blueberries
- Orange segments
- Mango cubes
- Strawberry halves
- Raspberries
- Blackberries
Mix-ins
- Chia seeds
- Almond butter
- Honey
- Granola
- Pepitas
- Sliced almonds
- Shaved coconut
Put it All together
- Add the mix-ins to separate bowls and place them in two corners opposite from each other.
- Add the produce in piles around the bowls, being sure to separate similar colors.
- Serve smoothie bowls on the side and enjoy!
