Sometimes I crave the tangy, cheesy deliciousness of a creamy blue cheese dip. This skillet recipe is so easy, you’ll want to bring it to every party (trust me, people will ask for the recipe). Serve it alongside your favorite chicken wings, raw veggies, potato chips, Salami Chips, pizza (yes, I’m a dipper!), sandwiches, burgers, and anything else your heart desires. You could even try a sweeter option, like apple slices!
Pair it with my Crudite Platter, Cobb Salad Platter, Pretzel Board, Veggie & Goat Cheese Board, Meatball Board, BBQ Chicken Board, and Whole 30 Board (for veggie board inspo!).

How To Make Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Skillet Dip
Ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into 1 inch cubes
- ½ cup Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing. HERE’s a link to find it in a store near you.
- ⅓ cup blue cheese crumbles
- 2 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- Crostini, for serving (find my recipe here!)
- Carrot sticks, for serving
- Celery sticks, for serving
Directions
- In a small skillet (6 inch), combine the cream cheese, Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing, and blue cheese crumbles. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the dip is bubbling around the edges. It should be a little chunky!
- Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and chives. Serve warm with crostini, carrot sticks, and celery sticks on the side.
What Are Crostini?
The best kind of cracker (in my humble opinion)! You can find the recipe in my Strawberry and Burrata Crostini. For more info:
When To Make Blue Cheese Dip
If you’re looking for an excuse to break this bad boy out, here are some ideas:
- Game day parties
- Holiday gatherings (like Halloween and Thanksgiving)
- Cozy nights in with friends (or yourself!)
- Family game night
- Movie night
Not Into Blue Cheese?
For all you blue cheese skeptics out there (I don’t judge!), I’m happy to say that the cream cheese really mellows out that classic tangy (sometimes stinky) flavor. My hope is that this mild dip will help get you into the blue cheese groove–just like with my Waldorf Salad Platter (where it’s perfectly balanced by the sweet grapes and pomegranate seeds).
